Manaus lies on the Negro river, 7 km from where it meets the Solimões river to form the Amazon river. Manaus is the capital of the Amazonas state and the hub of the entire Amazon Region, with a population of 1.6 million. Manaus today is a busy trade center, its roots beginning in the rubber trade industry. One of the must see in Manaus is the Amazon Opera House and its surroundings. The Opera house is considered as the most important architectonic work from the rubber golden age. You should also visit the Courthouse Palace - the most representative building of the eclectic architecture of the city - with its sober and austere façade. Manaus serves as the best-equipped entry and exit point for those eco-tourists heading into the Amazon Rain Forest. This region is very humid and has heavy rainfall all year round.

DAY 01 ARRIVAL AMAZON
Pick-up at 13h30 transfer to the Ceasa Docks. Short visit to the Meeting of the Waters by boat and transfer to the Amazon Ecopark Jungle Lodge. Reception with local juice after which guests will be shown to the rooms. Dinner and evening tour by canoe with opportunity of Alligator Spotting .Overnight at the lodge.

DAY 02 AMAZON (B,L,D)
Breakfast followed by Nature-Hike, During the hike, explanation will be given regarding local fauna and flora. Lunch at the lodge.
After a short rest, visit to the home of local Amazonian residents "Caboclos" to learn about their costumes and culture with an opportunity for Piranha Fishing tour (It is a non-professional fishing). Dinner and overnight.

DAY 03 AMAZON/MANAUS
Breakfast and visit to the Monkey Jungle, where researchers are working to rehabilitate monkeys that were at some point captive. Today these monkeys roam free at this location, which is immediately adjacent to the Lodge and houses spider monkeys, squirrel monkeys, woolly monkeys and Capuchin monkeys, many of them orphans. The Monkey Forest is open to guests at feeding times, always accompanied by a credentialed professional, permiting guests to film and photograph these animals in a natural and safe environment.
Check-out at 11h30 and transfer to Manaus. Check in at Tropical Manaus. Overnight in Manaus.

DAY 04 -MANAUS
Breakfast at the hotel .At schedule time transfer out to the airport to take you flight back home or proceed to your next destination.
