Romario Martins House

The oldest house in the city, located in Lago da Ordem, was built 100 years ago and is a cultural and historical research center.

Opera de Arame

Located in the Parque das Pedreiras, this is a construction 109 meters high, offering a beautiful panoramic view of the city.

Igreja da Ordem Terceira de São Francisco das Chagas

This church is the oldest surviving building in the city, and it dates back to 1737. It is one of the best examples of Portuguese ecclesiastical architecture in southern Brazil. The exterior of the church is rather plain, inside the church it is decorated with Portuguese blue and white tiling and late Baroque altars.

Museu de Arte Sacra

This interesting museum is housed in the Igreja da Ordem Terceira de São Francisco das Chagas. It contains a large collection of relics that where found in Curitiba's churches. There are many interesting and ancient items on display in the museum.

Museu de Arte do Paraná

This museum contains a large collection of works of art by mostly Paranese artists of the 19^th and early 20^th centuries.

Jardim Botanico

The botanical garden is a great place to go and relax amongst the beauty of nature. Here you can take a nice stroll along a number of paths that lead you through a wide range of indigenous plants.

The 2-floor greenhouse, shaped like a castle, is one of the city's most famous landmarks and should not be missed.

Parque Cachoeira

This park has a lake and is filled with many indigenous trees and plants. It also has a number of picnic areas where you can sit back and relax. The park also contains the Museu da Mata e Imigracao Polonesa.
