Tenharim
Population: 250 (1999)
This Indian Tribe is very good in combining color and textures with small feathers. They are known for drying flowers and crushing them into fine powder to sprinkle it on their bodies after bathing in the river. They are also called "Boca-Negra" or "Black Mouth" due to their corporal painting designs. They were first discovered when the TransAmazonica highway was built.
